The Audit Service Commission was established under 19th Amendment of the Constitution of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
First Audit Service Commission consisted of following members,

Audit Service Commission started its functions on 11 December 2015 holding the first Commission meeting at the premises of the Auditor General’s Department.
After the retirement of Mr. H.M. Gamini Wejesinghe, Mr. W.P.C. Wickramarathne appointed as the Second Chairman of the Audit Service Commission, beyond the date of 2019.05.09
